MR. DILLON

desired to know from the President of the Board of Trade whether, in the notice of Motion relating to the Bill to facilitate the construction of light railways in Great Britain, the expression "Great Britain" was intended to include Ireland?

MR. RITCHIE

replied that the Bill of which he had given notice was one which would deal with Great Britain.

MR. DILLON

asked the Chief Secretary how he meant to carry out the pledge he gave in reply to a question he put to the right hon. Gentleman that the Bill for facilitating light railways was to be applied to Great Britain and Ireland?

MR. GERALD BALFOUR

observed that the case of Ireland would be dealt with by a separate Bill.
