House reassembled at a Quarter past Six o'clock, when the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod (Sir Michael A. S. Biddulph) attended, and requested the attendance of the House in the House of Peers to hear the Royal Assent given to certain Measures, and also to hear the Gracious Speech from the Throne.

Mr. SPEAKER, accompanied by the Serjeant-at-Arms (Mr. Erskine), the Chaplain (the Rev. Canon Basil Wilber-force), and by about 40 Members, went to the House of Lords. On their return, Mr. SPEAKER read Her Majesty's Gracious Speech.

The business of the Session then ended.
