§ MR. WOOTTON ISAACSON (Tower Hamlets, Stepney)I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury whether he would grant a Return of the oust of the Royal Commission on Vaccination up to the end of March 1896, promised on the 30th of April last.
§ MR. HANBURYLast April the hon. Member put down a notice to move for a Return of this expenditure, and I informed him by letter of the 29th April that I would agree to it; but he appears to have taken no further action in the matter till now. Subsequently I informed the House, in reply to a Question put by the hon. Member for Gloucester, on the 11th May last, that the total cost of this Commission up to the 31st March had been £16,792. This answer appears to make the Return now in question unnecessary.
