asked for leave to introduce a Bill to make further provision with respect to the relief of the destitute poor in Ireland, and for other purposes connected therewith. He explained that he did not intend to proceed further with the Bill this Session, but that it was brought in so that its provisions might be considered in the Recess by Boor Law authorities in Ireland.
