HERBERT LEWIS (Flint Boroughs)I beg to ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, for the sake of enabling the tax payers to know the actual total of the amount raised in the way of Imperial taxation, he will, by means of a statement, appended to the final balance-sheet of the Budget of next Session, or otherwise, show the amounts received from taxation but not actually paid into the Treasury, and the corresponding grants in aid paid to local authorities?
