COLLERY (Sligo, N.)I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury, as representing the Postmaster General, whether the Post Office Authorities have selected a site for a post office in Sligo; and, will he take steps to have the erection of the proposed new premises proceeded with as soon as possible?
§ MR. HANBURYNo suitable site has yet been found that could be acquired at a price which the Department could be advised to pay, and the inquiry is still going on. When a site has been found and acquired, steps will be taken to proceed with the building as soon as possible; but as there is no provision for the purpose in this year's Estimates, nothing can be done until next year.
