§ SIR JOHN G0RSTThe Director of the Art branch of the Museum at South Kensington is responsible for the staff of that branch, for the arrangement of the collections, and for making purchases or recommending objects for purchase. He is not under the control of the officials who have charge of the Science and Art schools, but I will make further inquiries on the subject.
