MACALEESE (Monaghan, N.)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, what steps, if any, have been taken to bring to trial Patrick M'Quaide, of Gola, county Monaghan, who has been under arrest since the end of January last for alleged trespass upon his evicted farm; is he aware that M'Quaide has expressed his desire to be tried; and, will steps be taken to bring him to trial or order his release without further delay?
