§ MR. DALZIELI beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Colonies, whether he can state the date on which the complete form of the Colonial Office Dispatch in regard to affairs in the Transvaal was received by President Kruger?
§ MR. J. CHAMBERLAINI presume that the hon. Member refers to my Dispatch of February 4. I am unable to say on what exact date President Kruger received a copy of that Dispatch; but it must have been in his hands shortly before March 6, when it was commented upon in the Pretoria newspapers.
