Resolved:—
That the Agreements (1) dated the 9th day of July 1895, between the Treasury, the Colonial Governments of the Cape of Good Hope and Natal, and the British South Africa Company respectively, and the Eastern and South African Telegraph Company; (2) dated the 10th day of July 1895, between the Treasury and the same Telegraph Company, providing for a reduction in the charges for telegrams between South Africa, certain places on the East Coast of Africa, Mauritius, and Seychelles on the one hand, and Europe on the other, be approved."—(Mr. Hanbury.)
