§ MR. ROSSI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland what is the cause of the delay in commencing the building of the new Londonderry Asylum?
MR. JOHN MORLEYOn the 25th February last I stated, in reply to a question then addressed to me, that the Board of Control had selected a site at Gransha, within three miles from the City of Derry, for the erection of the new asylum. The Board inform me that no decision has yet been come to as to when the building operations shall commence. The matter is still under consideration.
