§ SIR GEORGE BADEN-POWELLI beg to ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he can now state on which day he will introduce the Vote on Account, which is to include the sum of £50,000 for the completion of the transfer of British East Africa to the direct control of the Government; and will the Vote be first Order in view of the importance of the subject-matter for which provision is thus made?
§ THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUERThe Vote on Account will, as I stated before, include a portion of this sum, and will raise the principle. I will consider as to the order in which the Vote shall be put on the Paper.
