HC Deb 21 May 1895 vol 33 c1796

On the Motion that the House do adjourn,

MR. J. H. C. HOZIER (Lanarkshire, S.)

asked at what hour on Thursday the Motion for the Scotch Grand Committee would be brought on.

THE PATRONAGE SECRETARY TO THE TREASURY (Mr. THOMAS ELLIS,) Merionethshire

said, the Chancellor of the Exchequer would make a statement as to Public Business on Thursday, and he hoped the right hon. Gentleman would be able then to say that proceedings in the Budget Bill would be stopped at half-past Ten, in order to proceed with the Scotch Grand Committee.

House adjourned at a Quarter after Twelve o' cock.
