HC Deb 21 May 1895 vol 33 c1726
MR. JAMES STUART (Shoreditch, Hoxton)

I beg to ask Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer when he will nominate the Committee, promised in the Budget Debate of last year, to consider the distribution of the proceeds of the Probate Duty and licences, as between London and the rest of the country?

THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUER (Sir WILLIAM HARCOURT,) Derby

This is a very proper subject of inquiry, and I will communicate with my hon. Friend about it in a few days.
