§ MR. DAVID SHEEHY (Galway, S.)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that an agreement to purchase was entered into on 1st November 1891 between James Coy and the trustees of the O'Hara Estate, Derryhoyle, Craughwell, County Galway, and that the interest on the amount of the purchase has been regularly paid since; and could he explain the grounds of the delay in the sale being confirmed and completed?
MR. JOHN MORLEYI am informed that the proceedings in this case are in the Land Judge's Court, that they have been pending since September 1893, that the requisitions on title issued on the 18th January last, and that they have not since been answered.
