HAYDENI beg to ask the First Commissioner of Works under what Statute large payments are made annually by Parliament for the erection, repair, maintenance, heating, &c., of the County Court houses in England and Scotland; and whether, seeing that the entire similar expenditure for County Court houses in Ireland is charged to the local cess, levied upon the occupiers of houses and lands, steps will be taken to assimilate the law in this respect between the two countries?
