BRUNNER (Cheshire, Northwich)I wish to ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer a question of which I have given him private notice, and it is whether he will be good enough to state the cause of the delay in the issue of the Writ for Warwick and Leamington, and the date on which he will cause the Motion to be made for the issue of the Writ?
§ THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUERI understand that all the formalities connected with the Peerage of the late Speaker have been completed, and it will be gazetted to-morrow, and I have no doubt that the new Writ will be moved for in regular course.
