HC Deb 07 May 1895 vol 33 c637
MR. HARRY FOSTER

I beg to ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he is now in a position to state when the Second Reading of the Intoxicating Liquor Traffic (Local Control) Bill will be taken; and if there is any truth in statements appearing in the Press that the Government do not intend to proceed further with the Bill?

THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUER (Sir WILLIAM HARCOURT,) Derby

The answer to both questions is in the negative.
