Returns ordered—
For each county, city, and Borough in Ireland, of the names of the persons holding the Commission of the Peace, and giving the date of appointment of each such Justice, and, so far as can be ascertained, the designation, profession, or occupation of each such person at the time of his appointment to the Commission of the Peace, stating at the foot of the Return for each county, city, and borough, so far as can be ascertained, and with such accuracy as is possible, in the absence of any official record, the aggregate number of such persons that are Protestants, specifying their denominations, the number that are Roman Catholics, and the number that are members of any other religious denomination, and the number of such persons that are of each such designation, profession, or occupation, so far as the same can be ascertained. For the whole of Ireland, of the number of such persons of each religious denomination that are of each such designation, profession, or occupation, so far as the same can be ascertained; and of the number of such persons usually resident in such county, city, or borough (in comtinuation of Parliamentary Paper, No. 463, of Session 1893."—(Mr. William Redmond.)
