§ SIR EDWARD GREYHer Majesty's Legation at Santiago have instructions to take the necessary steps to have this claim brought before the Mixed Commission, which is now sitting; but it is not possible to say when this particular claim will be adjudicated upon. The Commission is, by Article 7 of the Convention between Great Britain and Chili, allowed a year in which to discharge its duties, with power, under certain circumstances, to prolong its existence for an additional six months.
