JORDAN (Meath, S.)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland if lie is aware that the House in which Patrick Gibbons resides, in Moyangher, Rath-more Division of the Trim Union, County Meath, was condemned by the Sanitary Authority as unfit for human habitation; that more than twelve months ago he made application for a labourer's cottage, and the application was approved by the Local Government Board Inspector and granted by the Board of Guardians; and, as the house has not yet been erected, will he ascertain the cause of the delay?
MR. J. MORLEYThe facts appear to be as stated in the question. The Provisional Order confirming the Guardians' scheme was issued by the Local Government Board on the 22nd August; petitions were lodged against it, and the Order had to be confirmed by the Privy Council, which was done on the 17th January last.
