Member calls attention, and with reference to the suggestions made by him in the second paragraph of his question, I would observe that cheese clearly falls within the scope of the Merchandise Marks Acts, and that, if specific cases can be brought under my notice in which any false trade description has been applied to that commodity, I should be glad to consider whether the circumstances call for the institution of proceedings by the Board of Agriculture under the Act of last Session.
