§ THE UNDER SECRETARY OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS (Sir Edward GREY,) Northumberland, BerwickA communication has been made to the Nicaragua Government through the Minister of that Republic accredited to this country with regard to the arrest at Bluefields, imprisonment, and expulsion from Nicaragua of certain British subjects last August. Until the reply of the Nicaraguan Government has been received it is not desirable to make any public statement as to the terms of the communication made to them.
