HC Deb 19 March 1895 vol 31 c1360

On the Order for Second Reading,

DR. FARQUHARSON (Aberdeenshire, W.)

moved:— That the Order [18th February] that the Bray, Dalkey, Kingstown and Blackrock Water Bill be read a second time be read and discharged. That the Bill be withdrawn.

MR. T. M. HEALY (Louth, N.)

who had the following Motion on the Paper:— That it be an Instruction to the Committee to insert Clauses in regard to Bray and Dalkey townships, similar to those inserted in the Kingstown and Blackrock Drainage Act, 1893, as to the franchise, registration, and period of qualification of voters"— said, that the promoters having abandoned the Bill, his Instruction could not be moved. He understood that the Bray Commissioners were promoting another Water Bill, and he would move his Instruction to the Committee that considered that Bill.

Motion agreed to, and Bill withdrawn.
