HC Deb 18 March 1895 vol 31 c1251
MR. J. FINUCANE (Limerick, E.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, (1) whether his attention has been directed to the great delay in proceeding with the scheme for labourers' cottages at Hospital, Kilmallock Union, County Limerick; (2) if it is a fact that an inquiry into this scheme was held nearly four years ago by the Local Government Board, and the scheme has since been sanctioned by the Privy Council; and (3) when will the arbitrator visit Hospital and make an award?

MR. J. MORLEY

The facts are as stated in the second paragraph of the question. I am informed, however, that the Guardians have not yet taken the necessary steps for the appointment of an arbitrator. I shall make; further inquiry in the matfer.
