MARK NAPIER (Roxburgh)I beg to ask the President of the Board of Trade whether the Commission about to be appointed will be empowered to inquire into and report upon the administration of the Tweed Acts, with special reference to the exceptional criminal procedure sanctioned by those Acts; and whether the range of the inquiry will extend to the whole area covered by the Tweed Acts?
