DARLINGI beg to ask the Civil Lord of the Admiralty whether it is the intention of the Admiralty to discharge any, and, if so, how many, labourers now employed in Deptford Victualling Yard; whether some of these men have 13 years' service, and would shortly become entitled to a bonus or pension; and whether they will lose this on their present dismissal.
§ MR. EDMUND ROBERTSONNo discharges properly so called are contemplated at Deptford. Certain retirements take place from time to time under the rules of the Admiralty Service.
