§ MR. CYRIL DODD (Essex, Maldon)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if Mr. Justice Wills is unfortunately prevented by illness from taking the business of the 287 north-eastern Circuit, as announced; and, if so, what arrangement has been made in order that inconvenience may not arise from his absence for the conduct of the business at the York and the Leeds Assizes?
§ MR. ASQUITHI am informed that arrangements have been made by Mr. Justice Charles for his being joined by another Judge at Leeds; with regard to York, owing to the business being unusually light, he is able, on this occasion, to dispose of it himself without inconvenience to the public.
