§ THE PRESIDENT OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOARD (Mr. SHAW-LEFEVRE, Bradford, Central)The Local Government Board consider that Section 8 (1) (b) of the Local Government Act, 1894, confers on a Parish Council the right either to hire or to purchase land for the purpose of a recreation ground.
