§ THE UNDER SECRETARY OF STATE FOR THE COLONIES (Mr. SYDNEY BUXTON, Tower Hamlets, Poplar)Owing to a defect in the Act of the Canadian Parliament confirming the 290 Treaty, it has not yet been possible to exchange ratifications. This will be amended as soon as the Canadian Legislature meets, and the ratifications will then take place without delay.
