HENNIKER HEATONI beg to ask the Postmaster General whether, with a view to give further encouragement of small savings amongst the poor, and especially the children of the poor, 1657 he will provide forms to hold 24 halfpenny stamps, in addition to the forms issued for penny stamps, for investments in the Post Office Savings Bank?
§ MR. ARNOLD MORLEYThe hon. Member seems to be unaware that halfpenny stamps are accepted on the slip forms referred to. It is not desirable to multiply the number of forms to be issued throughout the country, and I do not think it would be expedient to introduce a new and special form for 24 stamps.
