GIBSON BOWLESHaving regard to the assurance we received from him the other night, that the Departments concerned would see what Papers they could lay upon the Table, upon the strength of which I withdrew my Motion for a Select Committee, I beg to ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer when we shall receive the Papers, and when the opportunity will be afforded to us to look at them, before the discussion on the Bill is resumed.
§ THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUERI am not able to answer the question with reference to the Papers, but certainly I have undertaken that there shall be a time fixed when there can be a discussion on the Bill.
