HC Deb 18 June 1895 vol 34 cc1372-3
SIR CHARLES DALRYMPLE (Ipswich)

I beg to ask the President of the Local Government Board, whether he is aware that the Report of Mr. Wilson Fox, on Agriculture in Suffolk, presented to Parliament on May 22, and not yet delivered to Members of this House, has received wide circulation and been the subject of comment in the Press; and, whether he proposes to take any steps to prevent premature and improper publication in similar circumstances in the future?

THE PRESIDENT OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOARD (MR. G. J. SHAW LEFEVRE, Bradford, Central)

The Report of Mr. Fox was presented in print to the House on May 22, and then became public property. It was open to any Member to make extracts from it. The Report has now been circulated.
