Resolved— That the Resolution of the House of the 23rd day of May relative to Canal Rates, Tolls, and Charges Provisional Order Bills, and the Message from the Lords of the 29th day of May signifying their concurrence in the said Resolution, be read. That the following Bills be committed to a Select Committee of five Members, to be nominated by the Committee of Selection, to be joined with a Committee of the Lords:—Canal Rates, Tolls, and Charges Provisional Order [Strabane Canal] Bill. Canal Tolls and Charges Provisional Order [Caledonian and Crinan Canals] Bill. Canal Tolls and Charges Provisional Order [River Ouse (Beds. and Hunts.) &c.] Bill. That all Petitions in favour of or against the Bills or Orders scheduled thereto presented five clear days before the meeting of the Committee be referred to the Committee; that the Petitioners praying to be heard by themselves,, their Counsel, or Agents, be heard in favour of or against the Bills, and Counsel heard in support of the Bills. That a Message be sent to the Lords to acquaint their Lordships that the said Bills have been committed to five Members of this House, to be joined with a Committee of the Lords, and to request that their Lordships will be pleased to appoint an equal number of Lords to be joined with the Members of this House."—(Mr. T.
