On the Order for the Second Reading of this Bill,

An hon. MEMBER objected.

COLONEL HOWARD VINCENT (Sheffield, Central)

appealed to the hon. Gentleman not to press his objection, as the Bill had the day before been approved by the Institute of Commanding Officers.

DR. TANNER (Cork, Mid)

said, he would have supported the Bill had it not been supported by the hon. Member for Sheffield. As it was, he must object.
