§ THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR THE HOME DEPARTMENT (Mr. ASQUITH,) Fife, E.I have to-day received a Report from the Authorities of the Island of Guernsey on this case; having regard to all the circumstances, I have come to the conclusion that it is 1479 one which justifies my recommending the remission of the remainder of the sentence.
