ACLAND, York, W.R., Rotherham)I am sorry I am not able to give the information asked for by the hon. and gallant Gentleman, as these schools are Roman Catholic schools. Money is only allotted by School Boards to schools which are under their control.
§ COLONEL NOLANMay I ask whether the right hon. Gentleman can procure any returns on this subject either from Roman Catholic or Protestant schools?
§ MR. ACLANDThe point of my answer is that no Roman Catholic or other Voluntary schools receive money from the rates levied by School Boards in any part of the United Kingdom.
