§ *Mr. J. G. WEIRI beg to ask the President of the Board of Trade if he is now in a position to state when the lighthouse on the Flannan Islands, recommended by the Commissioners of Northern Lighthouses, will be commenced.
§ Mr. BRYCEThe estimates of the three general lighthouse authorities for the coming year are now under consideration, and no decision has yet been arrived at. The erection of a light on Flannan Islands is one out of several new works which have in principle been approved; but, in the present condition of the Mercantile Marine Fund, not all of those approved can be undertaken in the coming year.
