HC Deb 21 February 1895 vol 30 cc1264-5
MR. R. V. BARROW (Southwark, Bermondsey)

I beg to ask the President of the Board of Trade if the Committee sitting upon Limited Liability Company Law is likely to produce their Report in time to enable the Government to give effect to same in a Bill to be brought before the House at a reasonable period of the present Session?

MR. BRYCE

The Committee on the Companies Acts have been giving most assiduous attention to the difficult questions referred to them, and have made so much progress that I trust they may be in a position to report within the next few weeks; and I continue to entertain the hope that it may be possible to legislate on the subject in the present Session.
