SCHWANN (Manchester, N.)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War, whether the Army Reservists will be entitled on 1st April next to the sum of £1. 10s. 8d., a quarter's pay, and also to £3 deferred pay (from 1st April 1894 to 1st April 1895); and whether he could make arrangements for them to receive at once, say, half their pay, in view of the privations they are suffering from the inclemency of the season?
§ *MR. CAMPBELL-BANNERMANThe money payable on the 1st April to men of the Army Reserve, is included in the Estimate for the next financial year, and there are no funds now available for such a service.
