I beg to ask the Under Secretary for the Colonies, whether Her Majesty's Government will consider the expediency of communicating with Colonial Governments with a view of endeavouring to arrange a system by winch the services of persons who have held high judicial office in the Colonies may be secured on the Bench of the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council, in accordance with the intention of the 3rd and 4th Will. IV., c. 41?
