TULLY (Leitrim, S.)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether the attention of the Constabulary Authorities has been drawn to the inconvenience caused by the fact that the police barrack for the Boyle district is situated at a considerable distance from the town; and whether he can state if it is the intention of the Authorities to provide a suitable barrack for the police within the town of Boyle?

MORLEYThe Constabulary Department is aware that the present barrack at Boyle occupies an inconvenient position, and is otherwise objectionable, For a considerable time past efforts have been made to procure a better house, and the Department is at present negotiating for premises which occupy a central position in the main street of the town. A satisfactory arrangement will, it is expected, be shortly arrived at.
