HC Deb 07 February 1895 vol 30 c197
SIR H. SEYMOUR KING (Hull, Central)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for India whether he has yet received an answer from the Government of India to his Despatch sent from the India Office at the end of May last year on the subject of the grievances of Officers in the Staff Corps; whether he is now in a position to lay upon the Table the Papers relating to these grievances, including the Memorandum submitted to the late Commander-in-Chief and his suggestions thereon; and whether any decision, and, if so, what, has been arrived at on the subject?

MR. H. H. FOWLER

A reply has been received from the Government of India, and the subject is now under my consideration in communication with the War Office.
