HC Deb 31 August 1895 vol 36 c1378
CAPTAIN DONELAN (Cork, E.)

I beg to ask the Secretary to the Admiralty, whether all the repairs required by H. M. S. Warspite will be carried out at Haulbowline Dockyard?

THE SECRETARY TO THE ADMIRALTY (Mr. W. E. MACARTNEY,) Antrim, S.

All the repairs to the Warspite that could be done by Haulbowline Dockyard were completed before she left for Devonport. The remaining items were done at that yard, except the retubing of the surface condensers of the main engines, which will be carried out, upon her return to Haulbowline, by the ships artificers, assisted by the dockyard if necessary.
