BUCHANAN (Aberdeenshire, E.)I beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether Her Majesty's Government will take steps to bring about an international agreement amongst the Maritime Powers bordering on the North Sea to extend the territorial limit for fishery purposes, and to make such international regulations as regards trawling as may be agreed upon?
* MR. CURZONThe question is one of which the importance is recognised by Her Majesty's Government; but it is beset with many difficulties, and I am afraid that I am not at present in a position to make any more definite statement on the subject.
