HC Deb 22 August 1895 vol 36 c562
* MR. FLYNN

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, whether, in view of the letters of Mr. John Morley, dated respectively 8th June and 24th June, to the Commissioners of National Education for Ireland, the resolution of the Board of Commissioners, dated 18th June, and minutes of the proceedings of the Board on 25th June, the Lord Lieutenant is now prepared to sanction the scheme of the Commissioners under which the Christian Brothers' and other schools engaged in primary education may become entitled to State aid?

MR. GERALD BALFOUR

I replied yesterday to a similar question addressed to me by the hon. Member for North Dublin.
