§ MR. AKERS DOUGLASreplied to the question, and said: The purchase of a site for the new Custom House at Cardiff could not be proceeded with until the sum required had been voted. That having now been done, the purchase of the site will be completed, it is expected, very shortly; after which, steps will be taken towards erecting the building. No provision for the building is made in this year's Vote.
