MILDMAY (Devon, Totnes)asked the Under Secretary of State for War whether the wording of the proposed new by-laws in respect of Artillery practice seawards in the vicinity of Plymouth Sound had been so amended as to preclude the possibility of power being given under the said by-laws to shut up either entrance to Plymouth Sound?
§ MR. BRODRICKCorrespondence with the local authorities is still taking place as to the wording of the proposed by-laws; and it is hoped to be able to remove all reasonable cause of objection on the part of those who navigate the entrances to the port.
