§ THE SECRETARY FOR SCOTLAND (Sir GEORGE TREVELYAN,) Glasgow, BridgetonI am informed by the Local Government Board that their most recent reports do not show that there was any 12 failure of the potato crop or any exceptional distress in the Loch Broom district of Ross-shire. I have, however, requested the Board to obtain a special report on the matter from their General Superintendent, and I hope to receive it very soon.
