§ SIR E. GREYSir John Kirk has been appointed Commissioner, and will proceed to Brass by the steamer of the 11th of May. His instructions will embrace an inquiry into all the circumstances connected with the recent outbreak, the redress of grievances, and the maintenance of order in the two Protectorates.
